Chosen Rentals Terms and Conditions

Agreement

These terms apply to every rental booked with Chosen Rentals through this website. By completing a booking you agree to them, along with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this site to book a vehicle.

Who May Rent

The main driver must hold a valid, unexpired driver's license and meet our minimum age requirement, and must present that license at pickup. Any additional driver must be named on the booking and meet the same requirements before driving the vehicle.

Booking and Payment

Rates, taxes and fees are shown before you confirm a booking. Payment is taken through our payment processor; we do not store your full card details. A security hold may be placed on your card for the rental period and released after the vehicle is returned and inspected.

Changes and Cancellation

Cancellation and modification terms are shown on your booking and in your confirmation email. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged. If we cannot supply the vehicle you booked, we will offer a comparable vehicle or a refund.

Use of the Vehicle

The vehicle must be used lawfully and only by drivers named on the booking. It may not be used to carry passengers or goods for hire, to tow, to race, or while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Any restriction on where the vehicle may be driven is stated in your booking and confirmation email.

Return, Fuel and Condition

Return the vehicle at the agreed time and place, in the condition it was collected, with the fuel level described in your booking. Late returns, missing fuel, excessive cleaning and lost keys may be charged at the rates shown in your booking and confirmation email.

Damage, Insurance and Liability

You are responsible for the vehicle while it is in your care, including damage, theft, fines and tolls incurred during the rental. Insurance and waiver requirements are stated at booking. To the extent permitted by law, Chosen Rentals is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed travel connections.

Breakdown and Accidents

Tell us as soon as possible if the vehicle breaks down or is involved in an accident, and report any theft or serious accident to the police. Do not authorise repairs without our agreement.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this site at the time you book is the version that applies to your rental.
